School of International Education HEBUST The Commitment of Safety for International Students
为了维护学校良好的学习秩序，保护留学生的人身安全，保证留学生能够顺利完成学业，根据中国相关法律、法规及学校的有关规定，特制定本规定。
To maintain a safe and positive study atmosphere and to ensure students successfully complete their academic study, the School of International Educational draws up the following commitment of safety abide by the relevant laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China and the university
一、遵守中国的法律、法规及学校的规章制度，不得危害中国国家安全，不得从事与留学生身份不符的活动。
1. Students must abide by the relevant laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China and the university, and should not engage in behaviour that endanger national security or participate in any inappropriate activities.
二、尊重中国的风俗习惯，严禁留学生从事非法社会、政治活动,不得在学校进行宗教活动等。
2. Students should show respect to the traditions and customs of China and should not do missionary work on campus or participate in religious gatherings.
三、留学生到校后，须在24小时内到公安机关办理申报住宿登记手续。入境后需要在24小时内购买保险（入境前已经购买保险的，请忽略），购买方式见文件《河北科技大学国际教育学院来华留学生医疗保险办理流程》。入境后5天内在指定地点体检。并须在30日内按照石家庄市公安局出入境管理支队的有关规定办理居留许可手续。留学生要注意查看自己护照、签证、居留许可的有效期限，并在到期期限前30天告知留学生管理办公室教师，否则因证件过期造成的出入境管理部门处罚由留学生本人承担
3. According to the relevant provisions of the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of Shijiazhuang Public Security Bureau, students should register within 24 hours of entering China in the local police station. You need to buy insurance within 24 hours after entering the country (if you have already bought insurance before entering China, please skip it), and the way of buying: "Procedures for Handling Medical Insurance for International Students in College of International Education, ". Physical examination at the designated place within 5 days after entry.And extension requests within 30 days. Foreign Students should pay attention to the validity period of their passports, visas, residence permits, and inform the Office 30 days prior to the expiration date, otherwise, penalties caused by expired certificates shall be borne by the student.
四、留学生宿舍实行相对封闭管理，严禁学生擅自在校外租房、夜不归宿及在宿舍留宿外来人员。
4. The management of the international student apartments is very strictly controlled. It is strictly forbidden for students to rent rooms and stay off campus overnight, or to allow outsiders to stay in students’ apartment.
五、在教学区、图书馆等学习场所要保持安静，在禁烟区请勿吸烟。
5. Keep the teaching buildings, library, and other learning areas clean. Do not speak loudly, play loud music, so not to disturb the people around you and to allow them to study and rest. Do not smoke in the non-smoking areas.
六、禁止燃放烟火爆竹。
6. Do not use fireworks.
七、换汇一定要去银行，不要在私人商店或个人处换汇。在非正式营业点换汇属于违法行为。
7. Please go to the bank to exchange money, do not exchange money in shops or any other place. It is illegal to exchange money at an informal business place.
八、乘坐出租车一定要选择正规出租车公司的出租车，不要打“黑车”。
8. Please only use legitimate taxi companies and do not use "illegal cars".
九、学生不允许驾驶机动车、摩托车、电动车，如学生执意私自驾驶，一切责任、后果由学生承担。
9. Students are not allowed to ride a motorcycle. In such an event, all consequences shall be borne by the student.
十、严禁到江、河、湖泊、水库等非正规游泳场所游泳和到自然条件险恶的地方游玩。
10. It is strictly prohibited to swim in rivers, lakes, reservoirs and other unauthorized swimming places, or visit places with dangerous natural conditions.
十一、严禁赌博、酗酒、打架斗殴以及其它干扰学校教学、科研和生活秩序的行为。
11. It is strictly prohibited to gamble, drink, fight and any other behaviours interfering with school teaching, scientific research and orderly life.
十二、严禁卖淫、嫖娼、吸毒、贩毒等违法犯罪活动。
12. It is strictly prohibited to engage in prostitution or whoring, drugs, drug dealing and other illegal and criminal activities.
十三、严禁从事任何商业性或非商业性的就业活动。
13. It is strictly prohibited to engage in any commercial or non-commercial activity of employment. It is not allowed to work outside, such as participating in business activities or working illegally. In such an event, all consequences shall be borne by the student.
十四、在我校的学习结束后按期返回自己的国家。如非法居留造成的出入境管理部门处罚由留学生本人承担。
14. At the end of the study in our school, students should return to their country based on their immigration requirements. Any consequences arising from not returning on time shall be borne by the student.
十五、本规定中有关学生安全管理未尽事宜的，参照国家有关法律、法规和学校规章制度执行。
15.Matters not covered in this regulation concerning student safety management shall be implemented with reference to relevant national laws, regulations and school rules and regulations.
十六、本规定由国际教育学院负责解释。
16.The school of International Education is responsible for the interpretation of this regulation.
