A Delegation of Eastern Kentucky University Visited HEBUST

        On March 19, Professor Michael Taft Benson, vice president of Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) visited HEBUST with another three members accompanied by the staff of International Education Exchange Center of Hebei Province. Vice president Xiang Hui of HEBUST held talks with the foreign guests.

        Xiang Hui warmly welcomed the delegation headed by Professor Michael Taft Benson. He said that “Opening to the Outside World” is one of HEBUST’s development strategies and HEBUST attaches great importance to international education. In the future, HEBUST will strongly support the cooperation and exchange with EKU. It is hoped that these two sides can carry out substantive cooperation in international curriculum construction, student exchange, teacher development and some other fields.

         President Michael Taft Benson thanked for the warm reception of HEBUST. He said that EKU will provide more convenience for the further education of teachers and students. He hoped that the two sides would make more cooperation in various fields. 

        After the talks, the two sides signed a memorandum of friendship and cooperation.

        Relevant directors from Department of International Exchange & Cooperation, Center for Faculty Development and School of Economics and Management attended the talks.
