A Contingent of the State of Illinois Paid a Friendly Visit to Hebust

On March 12, a contingent of higher education delegates visited our university. They are 17 delegates form 8 universities including W. J. Carroll, Chairman of Benedictine University, R. W. Carter, Executive Director at Western Illinois University, L. N. Berlin, International project leader at Northeastern Illinois University and other delegates. Jin Zhanzhong, Vice-President welcomed them and bestowed gifts.

They had a friendly discussion in the meeting room A402 in the executive building. They introduced their basic information and development features respectively and expressed the preliminary cooperation intensions in subjects such as students exchanging, teachers exchanging, cooperation in running schools, science research cooperation in the fields of bioengineering, ecological environmental protection, biochemical medicine, communication, education and so on. The conversation established the foundation for the future substantive cooperation.

After the conversation, the delegation visited the Personality Courses Exhibition in the School of Fine Art, and then visited the laboratories in the School of Electrical Engineering.

Directors in Department of International Cooperation and Exchange, School of Fine Art, School of Electrical Engineering and related personnel took part in the discussion and the visiting.
