Graduates Cultivated by HEBUST and Sungshin University Show Designs in Beijing Fashion Week

At the end of this academic year, the first batch of undergraduate students under the “undergraduate education program in clothing and costume” design will graduate officially. From 13th May, to 20th May, students attended the “2017 China’s international students fashion week” in Beijing. Ji Feiyue ranked 14th among all new designers by his product “Darwin's back garden” series costume design, and his design product “bud” ranked 5th in the category of “market potential”; HEBUST also gained “International students fashion week talents training award” and ranked 5th "dream of new clothes" internet popularity award.
 
Among total 72 sets of graduation design original works, 37 sets are from products of our school students. These products combines design concept, design style and cultural elements of both China and Korea. It’s style is obviously different from the traditional Chinese style. These products are highly praised by Chinese Fashion Designers Association, and other universities. Some companies invited some of our students to work there in the future.
 
This college fashion week consists of 48 schools with a major in dress design from 19 provinces in China, as well as 5 overseas universities. 
 
Relevant staffs from Department of International Exchange and Cooperation and Department of Teaching Affairs attended this fashion week in Beijing.
