Recently, the national finals of the 8th China University Intelligent Robot Creativity Competition were held in Yuyao, Zhejiang Province. Three teams from our university participated in the creative category of the robot theme competition, winning one national first prize, one second prize, and one third prize respectively.

In preparation for this year's competition, the Academic Affairs Office and the School of Mechanical Engineering meticulously organized the university-level selection round. More than 10 teams from various schools, including Mechanical Engineering, Art, and Electrical Engineering, participated. The faculty and students spent over three months refining, optimizing, and perfecting their team projects. Through the provincial selection process, three teams from our university were recommended to advance to the national finals.

The China University Intelligent Robot Creativity Competition was established in 2017. Centered on the theme of "Better, Faster, Stronger," the competition aims to cultivate students' ability to identify problems, forming an integrated talent development chain that includes problem identification, solution proposal, technological innovation, and project incubation. It has significantly contributed to the cultivation of talent in robotics-related fields and has been included in the National College Student Competition Rankings. This year's competition featured both theme and specialized categories, attracting a total of 10,880 teams from 752 universities across the country.
