From April 25th to 26th, the final round of the 2025 Hebei Provincial College Students Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Social Practice and Technology Competition concluded successfully. The competition was guided by the Teaching Steering Committee for Energy and Power Engineering Majors in Higher Education Institutions under the Ministry of Education and the National College Students Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Competition Committee, hosted by the Hebei Provincial Department of Education, and organized by Hebei University of Technology, concluded successfully. Our university secured 2 Special awards, 3 First Prizes, 6 Second Prizes, and 8 Third Prizes in the provincial-level competition, along with the Outstanding Organization Award.

This competition centered on green and low-carbon development needs, transforming the national “dual-carbon” strategic goals into educational carriers to cultivate patriotic feeling and sustainable development values. It actively implemented the educational philosophy of “promoting learning, innovation, and reform through competitions.” Since the launch of the university-level competition, the Youth League Committee has mobilized extensively, attracting 110 entries from 13 schools including Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and the College of Sciences. After three rounds of rigorous review and one-on-one guidance from teachers , 25 outstanding projects were selected to participate in the provincial competition.
