【Good News】Our University Achieves Excellent Results in the National Finals of the 19th "Siemens Cup" China Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge
From August 12 to 15, the national finals of the 19th CIMC "Siemens Cup" China Intelligent Manufacturing
Challenge, organized by the Ministry of Education, were held at Taiyuan University of Technology. After
intense competition, all five teams from our university won national first prizes, setting a new record for
the number of national awards.

The competition, which began in March this year, attracted enthusiastic participation from students across
various majors. In the university-level selection round, 82 teams with 242 students took part. Through
multiple rounds of training and rigorous selection, 28 outstanding teams comprising 76 students were
ultimately chosen to represent the university in the provincial preliminary round. At the provincial level,
our teams secured 5 special provincial prizes, 5 first prizes, 12 second prizes, and 4 third prizes,
achieving overall results that ranked among the top in the province. Finally, five teams advanced to
the national finals.
The CIMC "Siemens Cup" China Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge is a Category A national competition
under the strategic cooperation framework between the Ministry of Education and Siemens. It is the largest
and longest-running university student competition in China's intelligent manufacturing field and one of the
highest-level national competitions. In 2025, the competition attracted participation from 968 universities
across the country, with 10,737 teams and over 36,000 teachers and students.
