Students from Our University's Fashion Performance Major Shine at Milan Fashion Week
Recently, the 2026 Autumn/Winter Milan Fashion Week was held in Milan, Italy. Li Zihe, a Grade 2024 student majoring in Fashion Performance at our university, was invited to walk the runway. He demonstrated solid professional competence and unique oriental charm on the international stage, emerging as a standout young Chinese talent at the event.
Milan Fashion Week is held under the auspices of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Italian Trade Agency (ICE) and the Municipal Government of Milan. As one of the "Big Four" international fashion weeks, it brings together the world's top fashion forces and industry elites.
After rigorous rounds of selection, Li Zihe showcased his talent at the "Li-Ning China · Milan Fashion Week · 2026 Autumn/Winter Collection". With confident and poised catwalk steps, and elegant and appropriate demeanor, he perfectly interpreted the brand's essence and sports spirit, exuding the crisp aura of a professional model while retaining his youthful vitality. During his studies at the university, Li has firmly grasped professional knowledge and core skills, and has participated in numerous brand shows such as Beijing Fashion Week and Shanghai Fashion Week. Recently, he has also received an invitation to walk the runway for the YOKE brand at Paris Fashion Week.
This trip to Milan has built an international exchange platform for our students, enabling the world to witness the potential and elegance of young Chinese students in the fashion field, and further enhancing the international influence of our university's Fashion Performance major. Taking this opportunity, the College of Textiles will deepen talent cultivation and international exchanges, and promote the high-quality development of the Fashion Performance major.
