Recently, the grand finale of the inaugural 2025 Fashion L'OFFICIEL Cup & China Keqiao International Design Masters Competition (referred to as the LCTC Design Masters Competition) was successfully held at the Oriental Milan International Fashion Release Center in Keqiao District, Shaoxing City. Wang Yijie, a student from the Sino-Korean Fashion Art Class 2305 in the Fashion and Apparel Design program of our university's Textile and Apparel College, won the National Silver Award for her work "Entering the Thin Air Zone."
The competition was jointly organized by the China Keqiao Textile City Construction and Management Committee of Shaoxing City and Fashion L'OFFICIEL magazine. It brought together a prestigious judging panel, including Simon Collins (USA), former Dean of Parsons School of Design; Lü Yue (China), founder of the Fashion Department at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and doctoral supervisor; and Jean Garcia (France), President of the Paris Fashion Association. A total of 29 designers from China, France, Italy, Japan, and other countries competed in the final round under the theme "Quality Future · World Journey." The entries focused on innovative fabrics, futuristic functionality, sustainable design, and metaverse interaction, integrating cutting-edge technologies such as AI generation and 3D printing to interpret the symbiotic relationship between technology and humanistic values.
