The five years of the "14th Five-Year Plan" have been a magnificent chapter in which all faculty, students and staff have worked diligently to fulfill the grand blueprint. We have courageously undertaken the mission of cultivating talents for the Party and the country, fully implemented the fundamental task of moral education, forged ahead in such fields as Party building, talent cultivation, scientific research, social services, cultural inheritance and innovation, as well as international exchanges and cooperation, and jointly depicted a grand blueprint for the high-quality development of University of Science and Technology.

Standing at the historical juncture where the "14th Five-Year Plan" has been successfully concluded and the grand vision of the "15th Five-Year Plan" awaits to be unfolded, to freeze the wonderful moments and enlighten the future, we hereby select the representative highlights from various fields starting today, so as to gather the strength for forging ahead.

Launched today –  Elevated Service and Guarantee

Upgrading and Expanding Campus Infrastructure

- Completed the construction of the Pharmaceutical Molecular Chemistry Experiment Building, the Southwest Sports Field, the Cold State Experiment Center and other 7 projects

-Built new West Gate and North Gate of the university

-Completed the relocation of the 110kV high-voltage power lines

-The Phase IV project with a construction area of 120,000 square meters, including the under-construction Teachers and Students Activity Center and student dormitory buildings, is in progress

Livelihood Projects Benefiting Teachers and Students

- A total of over 100 million yuan has been invested to upgrade the campus environment

-Renovated over 90,000 square meters of public facilities including teaching buildings, student apartments and campus roads

- Installed 50 charging piles for electric vehicles

-Carried out intelligent upgrading and renovation of 309 classrooms

-Equipped teaching buildings with air conditioners and elevators

-Achieved full coverage of the intelligent security system

Continuous Improvement of Medical Services

-The university hospital has been approved as a first-class general hospital and a provincial-level designated hospital for medical insurance pooling

-Launched TCM expert outpatient clinics and built a smart TCM pharmacy

-Passed the acceptance inspection for the first batch of national healthy school construction

-Approved as a national pilot school for first aid education

Heartwarming Upgrading of Catering Services and Guarantee

-Upgraded the "Internet + Transparent Kitchen" platform

-Publicly selected 16 high-quality teams and introduced distinctive local flavors

-Constructed a catering guarantee system featuring "safety prevention and control + service innovation"

-Implemented the "Dining Table 110" initiative for real-time food safety supervision

Beautiful Campus with Green and Low-Carbon Development

-The number of campus vegetation species reaches more than 150, with a green coverage rate of 41.7%

-Renewed over 1,000 sets of energy-saving facilities; the reclaimed water station treats 550,000 tons of sewage annually

-Awarded as one of the first batch of Green Schools in Hebei Province

-Honored as a Water-Saving School in Hebei Province
