On March 18, the 2nd International Poster Exhibition on Asian Urban Culture and the "Belt and Road" Digital Art Exhibition on Integration of China and ASEAN Countries opened at the exhibition hall of the School of Art of our university. With the theme of "Digital Empowerment · Mutual Learning amongCivilizations", this exhibition showcases the achievements of cultural exchanges and artistic integration between China, ASEAN and other Asian countries under the framework of the "Belt and Road Initiative" through the forms of poster art and digital art. Xu Zhice, Vice President of our university, attended the event and announced the opening of the exhibition.

At the opening ceremony, Tian Baochuan, Dean of the School of Art, delivered a speech. He stated that the exhibition focuses on the mutual learning between Asian urban culture and ASEAN civilization, building a crosscultural exchange platform with both academic value and contemporary significance. He hoped that teachers and students of the school would actively embrace digital technology, integrate professional creation with cuttingedge science and technology, innovate and practice in cultural inheritance and international exchanges, and continuously improve their artistic creation level. ZhaoZhice, Dean of the School of Art at Hebei GEO University, extended warm congratulations on the successful holding of the exhibition.

This exhibition is organized by the Organizing Committee of Asian Design Week and hosted by the School of Art of our university.Since the launch of the call for works in May last year, it has attracted active participation from artists, designers, university teachers and students, and art lovers from all over the world, with a total of 3,190 entries collected. Through a rigorous and impartial review process, 180 outstanding works were finally selected for exhibition. The creators of the exhibited works come from more than ten countries including China, Malaysia, and Thailand, covering 144 institutions and universities. The exhibited works are rich in categories, including flat posters, illustrations, digital art dynamic posters, digital art, and AIGC, etc. They not only embody the talent and wisdom of the creators, but also vividly showcase the diverse features and vibrant innovative vitality of Asian urban culture.

As one of the series of academic exhibitions for the 70th anniversary of our university, this exhibition will continue until March 26 and is open to all teachers and students, injecting fresh vitality of internationalization and digital art into the campus culture.
