The five years of the "14th Five-Year Plan" have been a magnificent chapter where all teachers and students have poured their sweat and jointly drawn the blueprint. We have bravely undertaken the mission of cultivating talents for the Party and the country, fully implemented the fundamental task of fostering morality and cultivating people, and forged ahead in fields such as Party building, talent cultivation, scientific research, social services, cultural inheritance and innovation, and international exchanges and cooperation, jointly depicting a grand blueprint for the high-quality development of Hebei University of Science and Technology.

Standing at the historical intersection where the "14th Five-Year Plan" has successfully concluded and the "15th Five-Year Plan" is about to be unveiled, to capture the wonderful moments and enlighten the future, we will select representative highlight moments from various fields starting today, so as to gather the power to move forward.

Launched today – A New Chapter in Improving Talent Cultivation Quality

Continuous Deepening of Education and Teaching Reform

- Passed the new round of undergraduate education and teaching audit and evaluation by the Ministry of Education.

- Implemented the Undergraduate Education and Teaching Quality Improvement Plan and the Graduate Education Reform Action Plan.

- Established the Muxing Teaching Award, with 3 Achievement Awards, 9 Excellence Awards and 12 Excellence Awards selected.

- Built 2 provincial-level modern industrial colleges.

Solid Advancement of Curriculum Construction

- Established 13 national first-class undergraduate courses and 56 provincial first-class undergraduate courses.

- Added 1 national-level research and practice project on emerging engineering education, and 145 provincial-level projects.

- Approved 3 national-level graduate education and teaching projects and 102 provincial-level projects.

- Approved as the Hebei Provincial Demonstration Center for Ideological and Political Teaching Research in Courses.

"The Great Ideological and Political Course" Forging Souls and Cultivating People

- Added 2 national first-class undergraduate ideological and political courses.

- Selected into 1 national-level demonstration project of ideological and political education in courses and 9 provincial-level demonstration projects of ideological and political education in courses.

- Won more than 40 national and ministerial/provincial-level innovative achievements in ideological and political education.

Upgrading and Advancing Graduate Education

- Added 3 provincial-level graduate workstations and 100 university-level ones, with the total number reaching more than 260.

- 43 master's theses were rated as provincial excellent master's degree theses, an increase of 50% compared with the "13th Five-Year Plan" period.

- Won 117 national awards in innovation competitions.

- Published more than 1,500 academic papers in high-level journals.

- Obtained more than 300 authorized patents.

Youth Science and Innovation Vitality Bursts Forth

- Won 59 national awards in the "Challenge Cup" (including 6 special prizes), and won the bidder of the Tackling Key Problems and Taking Command Special Competition for the first time.

- Secured 8 championships, 16 runner-ups and more than 40 first prizes in competitions such as the China University Student Aircraft Design and Innovation Competition.

- Won 66 awards in events like the National University Student Robot Competition.

- Earned a total of 1,077 national awards of various types, ranking 70th among local universities in the national college student competition rankings for general higher education institutions.

Steady Improvement in Employment and Entrepreneurship

- Built a practical teaching platform integrating traditional processing and manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, and intelligent manufacturing.

- Approved 136 national-level and 272 provincial-level college student innovation and entrepreneurship training programs.

- Implemented the Employment Service Quality Improvement Project, with more than 70% of graduates employed in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

"Five Educations Integrated" Safeguarding Growth

- The construction of the "One-stop" student community was rated Grade A by the Ministry of Education.

- Aesthetic education courses and art practice activities are booming, winning 43 awards at or above the provincial level.

- The labor education practice platform is gradually expanding, and 2 first prizes in the provincial labor skills competition have been won.

- Physical education teaching and mass sports activities are carried out on a regular basis.

Continuous Enhancement of Education and Teaching Capabilities

- 1 teacher was awarded the National Model Teacher title, and 1 collective was named an Advanced Collective in the National Education System.

- 3 teams were selected as the Huang Danian-style Teacher Teams in provincial universities.

- 11 new provincial-level famous teachers and 11 provincial-level excellent teaching teams were added.

- Won 171 awards at or above the provincial level in various teaching competitions.

- Secured 2 special prizes in the provincial university counselor quality and ability competition, and 3 counselors were rated as the Provincial University Counselor of the Year.
