Our School Ranks Among the Top 100 in the National College Student Competition Rankings

On March 22, the official website of the Chinese Society of Higher Education released the 2020 National College Student Competition Rankings. Our school entered the top 100 for the first time, ranking 77th in the country and 2nd in Hebei Province.


The 2020 National College Student Competition Ranking List includes 57 events officially recognized by the Ministry of Education with the most gold content and the most value for participation. Our school has won national awards in 20 of these events and won the national first prize 11 items. Especially in the China Undergraduate Mechanical Engineering Innovation and Creativity Competition, the National Undergraduate Metallographic Skills Competition, the National Undergraduate Mechanical Innovation Design Competition, the National Undergraduate Life Science Competition (CULSC)-Life Science Competition, Process Equipment Practice and Innovation Competition, "Challenge Cup" China Six events including the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Planning Competition won first prizes for the first time and achieved the best results in history.


In recent years, our school has coordinated and promoted various competition activities through multi-departmental linkages, and the scale of subject competition participation, award-winning level and research quality have been greatly improved. The Office of Academic Affairs has carried out special and integrated curriculum projects, education and teaching reform research, special seminars on subject competitions, subject competition filing and national competition previews, etc., vigorously promote the integration of the first curriculum and subject competitions, and help college students to improve the level of competition and create a good environment . The Youth League Committee extensively mobilized and organized meticulously to comprehensively promote the construction of the second classroom, earnestly summarize the experience of the "One College, One Competition" and "Double Hundred Project" activities, and vigorously promote the discipline competition training of the second classroom. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center for College Students has steadily promoted the construction of brand projects such as model aircraft and robot teams, and explored new research learning models for subject competitions.


Next, the school will use this as an opportunity to further summarize experience, optimize and upgrade, deepen the promotion of learning and teaching by competition, comprehensively improve the quality of innovative talent training, and promote the connotative development of the school.
