Our school has made great achievements in the 15th National College Students' Social Practice and Science and Technology Competition on Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction

Recently, under the guidance of the Teaching Steering Committee of Energy and Power Majors in Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education, the "Six Hundred Light Years Cup" 15th National College Students' Social Practice and Technology Competition for Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction, sponsored by the National College Student Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Social Practice and Science and Technology Competition Committee The final is over. Our school won 1 national second prize and 5 third prizes, and the school won the national "Excellent Organization Award".


In order to prepare for this competition, the school has carried out extensive publicity and mobilization. Since the school competition was launched last year, a total of 112 entries from 13 colleges including chemical engineering, environmental engineering, electrical engineering, and machinery have been collected. After three rounds of evaluation and one-to-one guidance from teachers, 25 works were selected to participate in the provincial competition, and 15 works were finally selected to participate in the national final through the online review and online defense in the provincial competition.


With the strong support of the Youth League Committee of the school and the full cooperation of the School of Mechanical Engineering, our school hosted the first social practice and science and technology competition on energy conservation and emission reduction for college students in Hebei Province, which further improved the energy conservation and emission reduction awareness, scientific and technological innovation ability and social practice level of college students in the province. It also promoted the in-depth development of the school competition for energy conservation and emission reduction in our school, and inspired the students' awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship and their determination to contribute strength and wisdom to the realization of the "double carbon" national major strategy.
